The gap
Fifty hours staffed.
A hundred and eighteen not.
A clinic open eight to six on weekdays has someone at the desk for fifty of the 168 hours in a week.

hours a week the phone can ring with nobody there to answer it
What a patient hears.
A booking, and a clinical question it declines. On your line it offers real times from your live diary.
- 21:41Caller
Hi — do you have anything this week? My back's gone again.
- 21:41FullDiary
You've reached Quellbrook Physio — I'm the answering service. I can book you in. There's Friday at 9:30, or Monday at 8.
- 21:42Caller
Friday. And do you reckon it's the ligament?
- 21:42FullDiary
I can't advise on that, and I won't try. The physio will look at it on Friday. Can I take your name and a mobile?
- 21:43Caller
Maya Kerr — and this is my mobile.
- 21:43FullDiary
Thanks, Maya. You're booked for Friday at 9:30. See you then.
Written into Cliniko before the caller hangs up.
It books.
It does not practise medicine.
- Never gives clinical advice.asked for one, it says so and moves on
- Never diagnoses, and never triages.there is no clinical model in the loop
- Never claims to be a person.asked directly, it says exactly what it is
- A caller who says it is urgent goes straight through.to your on-call number, before it books anything
- Your clinic is the controller; FullDiary is the processor.
- Handled on your instructions, for the job you asked for, and nothing else.
- Call records are stored in Sydney.

You keep your number.
FullDiary picks up behind it.
Your Cliniko diary, that afternoon · example, invented names. The slot is real before the caller hangs up — it is written into Cliniko, not into a list we keep.

Questions.
Short answers. The long ones are on the setup call.
What does a patient hear?
Your clinic's name, then a short offer of real times. The call above is a written example, under an invented clinic name, of how it handles a booking and a question it will not answer.
Does it write into Cliniko?
Yes, into your live availability. If the slot goes while the caller is still talking, it offers the next one rather than double-booking.
What happens if a caller says it is urgent?
It stops trying to book and puts them through to your on-call number. It never assesses or triages.
Do I change my number?
No. You keep the number patients already have. We add a divert to it.
What if it isn't for us?
Nothing but the divert. There is no lock-in and no notice period — you take the divert off and the line is exactly as it was.
How fast can we be live?
As soon as the setup call and the three test calls are done. The divert is the last step: one code on your own handset, dialled once you have heard it work.
Where are call records held?
Call records are stored in Sydney — for New Zealand clinics as well as Australian ones. For a New Zealand practice that is a cross-border disclosure, and the privacy page says so plainly.

Who you’d deal with
FullDiary is built by Madhav Sethi, previously at Google, for clinics in Australia and New Zealand.
The person who sets up your line is the person who built it.
